Health Fairs

Health Fairs are days in which we apply rapid tests for HIV, give talks on HIV / AIDS, risk behaviors, safe sex and protected sex, sexually transmitted diseases, offer counseling, give away condoms, lubricants and promotional material provided by our sponsors. We organize the Health Fairs during the day, in public places in Puerto Vallarta and the surrounding areas. We also go to towns near Puerto Vallarta, like Banderas Bay and Costa Alegre.

VIHDA TOURS:

VIHDA Tours are outings to night clubs, bars, meeting places and hangouts where the VES’s team of volunteers, led by the Coordinator of Prevention Programs, conducts activities such as distribution of condoms, lubricants and brochures with information. In some cases, rapid tests and counseling are carried out, provided that there is a room that has a suitable privacy which does not infringe the confidentiality and/or anonymity of the person who is getting tested. The VIHDA Tours are generally conducted at night, to reach a greater number of people who gather at night clubs, bars and the romantic zone.
